Past Client Projects
American Medical Association
Our experienced team served as part of a consulting team engaged to analyze, review, and suggest modifications for a new portal designed by the AMA to support local physician offices. This new portal, AMAgine, provided access to critical health IT platforms – such as EMR/EHR platforms – for the private physician market, who were traditionally ignored by much of the health IT industry. Most representatives of health IT vendors were courting large hospitals, or hospital systems, rather than individual physician offices. AMAgine supported various best of breed health IT platforms which physicians could login to and gain access to platforms that would otherwise not be available to them.
Our team assisted in developing a marketing strategy and lead generation plan for AMAgine to ensure the AMA targeted the right audiences with the right message. We identified organizations, collected and analyzed data and helped the AMA segment and target their sales activities for this platform, helping the AMA reach physicians in need of access to health IT platforms to improve efficiency and deliver better care to their patients.
Bausch + Lomb
Communication is critical within any healthcare organization. Downtime or failure within a healthcare organization’s communication networks is not simply inconvenient; it can have lasting ramifications. Providge led the way to improve Application Message performance at Bausch + Lomb. During our engagement, the Providge team improved Application Message performance time several times over and enabled successful legacy data conversions for multiple business units in global locations. Additionally, our experts provided expert technical direction in the configuration of the client’s Internet Broker architecture.
Global pharmaceutical leader
Throughout the course of a nearly 10-year engagement with this global pharmaceutical client, talented Providge experts have leveraged their experience to identify and resolve numerous business challenges.
Upon the initial engagement a team of five of our top consultants implemented an entirely custom Global Identity Management System (GIDM) at Pfizer’s headquarters in New York City. Part of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, this project had visibility and endorsement at the highest levels of Pfizer. The system, which was designed, tested, and implemented by our experts assigned a digital fingerprint to each Pfizer employee and contractor around the world. The system creates unique identities for individuals entering the Pfizer community and links them to PeopleSoft HRMS transactions, eliminating unnecessary steps and saving critical time for Pfizer’s HR professionals and for contractor sponsors. Previously, email accounts, system access, security badges, and much more had to be manually assigned and terminated. The GIDM System completes these tasks automatically and shuts them down when an employee or contractor is terminated; closing holes in security and helping Pfizer pass SOX review.
Our experts were also engaged to provide project management services during a crucial global, operating system upgrade. Our team provided much needed project management resources who served as connectors between the engineering team developing the new customized operating system and other invested workstreams. By coordinating across multiple teams, and stakeholders we were able to proactively address problems and report on issues and projects across various business lines. Ultimately, this enabled the delivery of a highly successful end product that exceeded user expectations.
